Projects we are currently involved in:
- CloPeMa: Clothes Perception and Manipulation
CloPeMa is a 3 year open-source EU-FP7 research project which aims to advance the state of the art in the autonomous perception and manipulation of fabrics, textiles and garments. The CLoPeMa robot will learn to manipulate, perceive and fold a variety of textiles. The operating-software is based on ROS (Robot Operating System) and written in C++, Python and Java.
Studying, developing and integrating, technologies and methodologies enabling the development of underwater robotic systems for manipulation and transportation activities whithin underwater scenarios, which are typical for the off-shore industry, for the underwater search and rescue operations, as well as for the underwater scientific missions.
RoboSKIN will develop and demonstrate a range of new robot capabilities based on the tactile feedback provided by a robotic skin from large areas of the robot body
